This course is the seventh and last course of our “Optimized Fire Combat” Training Program. This course consists of establishing a tactical plan when facing a structural fire. In order to put this plan into action, you will be using all of the notions that you have seen in the preceding courses, such as analyzing smoke patterns, identifying potential thermal phenomenon, nozzle techniques, applying the transitional attack, identifying flow paths, controlling ventilation, etc.
The objective is to create a secure approach to our work environment during a structure fire and to put in place tactics which will have a positive affect in reducing the number of losses and preventing serious injuries to Firefighters.
